Gabriel Garica Marquez wrote “One of These Days” directly about the relationship between middle class and politicians. Gabriel Garica Marquez started writing short stories like these in 1955 when he published his first novella, Leaf Storm. Marquez was born on March 6, 1928 in Aracataca, Colombia. Marquez’s parents were struggling for money, so Marquez went and lived with his grandparents for his first eight years.
