Introduction I don’t think being on a sports team in high school is a distraction in life. I think being on a sports team actually makes you a better person and even better in life. I feel like you can use skills you learn from being on a team like discipline, being a hard worker, and working well with others in your everyday lifestyle.
As a athlete myself I believe that you are at your full potential when you can use skills you learn from being on a team in your real life. Just because you’re on a team doesnt mean you don’t have to deal with the real world and real life situations. Some of the skills you learn from sports will help you handle certain situations.

Theres many example that prove my point that being on a sports high school team is not a distraction in life. I did research and found people, actually stars whose lives have changed due to being involved in sports while in high school. I honestly feel like there is so many good sides of being on a sports team in high school. Even coaches agree with me that being on a team is way more than what it sounds like. Being on a team means having another family and it makes you feel like you’re not really alone in this world.
