Throughout his life, Steve Jobs worked hard and strived to create the best technology. As a child, he made electronics with his father, Paul, in their garage, where he learned all about technology. In high school, Jobs created a device called a “blue box” that let people make free calls to other cities. He came up with the name for Apple, the successful company that he started, from working at an apple orchard over the summer. This shows how casual and frugal Steve was for a .
