Teaching is a popular profession, but an underappreciated one. Teachers are the people who shape and inspire the next generation of scientists, inventors, writers, and artists. Without teachers, progress with knowledge and, technology would come to a standstill. Everything would come to a halt intellectually and technologically if there were no longer any teachers. Teachers are under payed and often blamed for events that they have no control over inside and outside of the classroom. In other countries such as Switzerland, teachers are as respected as lawyers and doctors, so why are the views so different in America? This is why I want to become a teacher, to help with the continuation of growth, the inspiration of children, and equal opportunities for everyone
Within the world, growth of knowledge is crucial and that can’t be done without teachers in the world. This is one of the reasons I desire to be a teacher. Spreading the wealth of knowledge is the job I have wanted for as long as I can remember, while I realize that this sounds stereotypical, it is true. In kindergarten we all had to draw pictures of what we wanted to be when we grew up, and I distinctively remember drawing myself as a teacher. It was not because of a specific teacher but I loved what they represented. They represent the growth of a new generations of thinkers. I truly as a child enjoyed learning and what learning meant and I want to continue giving that same joy and love to other children, Children…
