Part II: Direct Care Experience
1. Share the pamphlet you have developed with a parent of an infant child. The parent may be a person from your neighborhood, a parent of an infant from a child-care center in your community, or a parent from another organization, such as a church group with which you have an affiliation.

Although I feel this experience went well, there is always room for improvement. I believe the openness and readiness of my individuals to learn helped the experience to go very well. I think it also went well due to the fact my pamphlet seemed to be in simple terms. The pamphlet also seemed to capture the attention of the dad when he saw the picture I had on my pamphlet of the little baby surrounded by smoke. I believe the experience may have been improved if I knew a little more about their families and the habits of their families and friends. I also think the experience may have been improved for my individuals if I was able to teach them separately and make the teaching even more individualized for them due to their difference in education level and ethnicities. It was interesting to see, however, that although the couple was from completely different ethnicities and education levels the information was still appealing and
